Get to know Devin.

In 2004 while doing the overnight show on a local radio station, I decided that I wanted to see the sun again. Within a year I became a licensed Real Estate agent and began to grow my business. As the real estate market crashed I landed back in radio full time as Promotions Director of several stations which taught me much about marketing and sales. I enjoyed working with people and had a calling to go back to school to pursue nursing. I earned my Pre Nursing Certificate and just before I was going to start clinical's, I injured my back (annular tear and ruptured disc). After months of pain I realized I was unable to continue the nursing program. I had to support my family so I dusted off my license and literally limped back to real estate. I joined a top producing team and worked as I could for a few months as I did physical therapy. I continued to get stronger and continued to grow my business. I am glad to say my back and my business are both doing fantastic. 

Coming from a more creative and expressive career I admit it took me some time to find my voice in the world of sales. I have had a great response and have enjoyed taking a creative approach to selling Real Estate. Here is a link to some video's on my YouTube page. Since my return to Real Estate full time in early 2013, I have claimed a spot among the Top 100 of Total Volume Sold in our area(2015), received 2 "100% Club" awards with RE/MAX(2015/2016), was named a "Miracle Agent" by the Children's Miracle Network for donations(2016), and was a Gold Award Recipient of the 2016 Residential Circle of Excellence by the Realtor Association. I attribute my success to my hard work, extensive training, local networking, and "No Gimmick's" approach. Those awards are cool but it is more rewarding helping my clients close chapters in their lives and sending them on their way writing new ones.
